Author Guidelines

Articles are published with the obligatory observance by the author of ethics and rules of publication.

Received articles are reviewed and checked for originality, ethics, significance, the adequacy of statistical data processing.

The editors and reviewers work with articles in compliance with the confidentiality conditions (excepting the case of identifying data falsification).

Articles which do not correspond to the journal profile are not accepted.

Violation of the rules of the article submission, untimely, as well as inadequate response to the comments of reviewers and scientific editors lead to a delay in publication. By ignoring the comments of reviewers and scientific editors, the article is removed from further consideration.

The authors who submitted articles for publication in the journal, agree to the terms of publication or rejection of the article, as well as the rules for its design.

The responsible author who is the correspondence with the editors expresses the position of the entire team of authors.

The editors and publishers are not responsible for the opinions expressed in publications, as well as for the content of advertising.

Authors have the right to receive on request information in the form of an e-mail about the preparation, design and promotion of the manuscript: plast.journal@gmail.com. The responsible author receives by e-mail the texts of the reviews, the decision of the editorial board to publish or reject the manuscript with the justification of the reason.

The authors guarantee that the article submitted to the editor is completely original and does not contain materials prohibited in the open press by the current legislation of Russia.

Materials for publication should be sent as electronic files to the journal website: www.plastics-news.ru, or to the editorial office plast.journal@gmail.com.

Each article should contain:

1. The full title of the article which must be short and informative.

2. Surnames and initials of all authors.

3. Full name and postal address of the institutions that are submitted the article.

The authors are connected with the place of their work through sequential numbering indicated in the upper register at the end of each author's name and in front of the name of the institution where this author works. If the author has several places of work, then under separate numbers are indicated all institutions that are relevant to the research performed.

4. Information about the authors (full names, academic title, official position).

5. Annotation and keywords.

All information should be presented in Russian and English.

Separately, the e-mail address, phone number, full name of the author responsible for the correspondence with the editors.

The abstract should give a clear picture of the work, in a very condensed form, it should contain the purpose of the study, materials and methods, results and conclusions.

Keywords are intended for indexing articles in information retrieval systems. The effectiveness of the search for the article and its subsequent citation depends on an adequate selection of keywords.

On the last page of the text there should be signatures of all authors confirming their authorship, agreement with the content of the article and submission it to the journal “Plasticheskie massy” (the last page is additionally provided in the form of a scan).

File format: text, tables, captions to tables and illustrations - Word.

Charts, diagrams, drawings are performed in the "Black and white" or "Grayscale" mode. The journal has not color printing.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.
  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).
  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).

 

Privacy Statement

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
