The organosilanes prospects in thermoplastic composites with vegetable fillers

Abstract

The characteristics and prospects of organosilanes as binders agent for thermoplastic compositions filled with vegetable fibers are described. The interfacial layer formation mechanisms and this layer morphology influence on the composites performance properties are considered. Also, the organosilanes using features and effectiveness in the compositions on polyvinylchloride and polypropylene matrix are considered.
